Volunteer Role: Community Builder and Social Media Promoter
Position Title: Community Builder and Social Media Promoter (Volunteer)
Location: Remote
Commitment: Flexible, minimum 10-15 hours per week
Duration: 3 months (extendable based on mutual agreement)

We are a growing startup dedicated to empowering schools and local organizations with a wide range of product choices, including essentials, branded items, preloved options, and sustainable goods. We’re looking for a passionate Community Builder to help us grow our online presence organically and create meaningful engagement on Facebook and other platforms.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Community Building:
Join relevant Facebook groups, including education, PTA, sustainability, and community-focused groups.
Engage with group members by participating in discussions and sharing valuable insights related to our mission.
Build relationships with group admins and members to establish trust and authenticity.
2. Content Sharing:
Post our social media content (blogs, product updates, campaign promotions) in relevant Facebook groups and other platforms like LinkedIn or Reddit.
Tailor posts to fit the tone and rules of each group, ensuring they add value.
Share engaging updates and start conversations to encourage organic interactions.
3. Engagement:
Actively respond to comments and messages to foster a sense of community.
Encourage likes, shares, and comments on posts to increase visibility.
Monitor feedback and report insights to the marketing team for future campaigns.
4. Audience Growth:
Identify and connect with individuals who align with our values, such as teachers, PTAs, and community leaders.
Invite potential followers to join our Facebook page and engage with our content.
Promote organic growth by creating authentic, value-driven interactions.
5. Performance Tracking:
Track the effectiveness of posts and engagement activities.
Provide weekly updates on community growth, post performance, and follower engagement.
