Regional Fundraiser Job Location: Across Yorkshire Salary: £28,699 per annum Hours: 35 per week 6 months Fixed Term Contract / Secondment Are you ready to make a real impact in your community by driving innovative fundraising initiatives for the British Red Cross? As a Regional Fundraiser you will implement the regional fundraising strategy aiming to raise income through regional corporates, volunteer-led, and supporter-led activities. This involves building and cultivating relationships with supporters and volunteers to ensure an excellent supporter experience. Are you skilled at identifying and seizing new fundraising opportunities? Can you effectively engage with a diverse range of supporters and volunteers? Your ability to proactively research and react to emergent opportunities will be crucial in growing income while staying competitive. You will plan to leverage your communication skills to build strong connections with potential and existing supporters. What does the day in the life of a Regional Fundraiser look like? Building and maintaining relationships with local businesses, supporters, and volunteers to encourage fundraising efforts. Planning and promoting local fundraising events and activities to meet income targets. Managing and updating the fundraising database to ensure accurate records of supporters and donations. Collaborating with other departments to maximise fundraising opportunities. Responding quickly to emergency appeals and adapting plans to take advantage of new fundraising opportunities. Regular and extensive travel across the Sussex and Kent region (access to own vehicle would be a practical advantage). What does it take to be a successful Regional Fundraiser? Strong communication skills to engage and persuade a diverse range of people. Good organisational skills to manage multiple tasks and prioritise your workload effectively. The ability to identify and develop new fundraising opportunities. Experience in planning and delivering successful fundraising events or projects.
