Sales Manager (Estate Agency) - Birmingham Up to £30,000 (depending on experience) Covering Edgbaston & City Centre A highly successful and reputable, multi-branch estate agent is looking for an enthusiastic for this Sales Manager position. The ideal candidate will work across the sales and new homes departments and have experience in sales, lettings and management. There will be a mixture of properties to sell as we have offices in Birmingham City Centre and the affluent area of B15 Edgbaston, which is considered as one of the most sought-after areas in Birmingham. Salary and Benefits • Good starting salary, up to £30,000, depending on experience • Good commission and bonus structure • On Site Parking Space • Company Laptop • Company Mobile Phone (new) •20 Days Annual Leave Plus Bank Holidays • Mileage paid at 45p per mile • Pension package (NEST) • 24-hour use of Birmingham City Centre branch company gym, showers, changing rooms and communal space • Free coffee and tea facilities including Latte, Mocha, Flat White, etc all day, every day • Comprehensive Bupa health and dental insurance after 2 years’ service • Opportunity to enter the company bonus scheme after 2 years service Job Role (in brief ) • Working Hours: Monday to Friday 9am - 5.30pm, Alternative Saturdays 9.00am-16.00pm • Diary management • Dealing with incoming sales calls, walk-ins and email enquiries • Qualifying and managing sales enquiries • Conducting viewings for both branches • Negotiating and selling re-sale residential properties • Sales progression • Client mailouts • Window displays • Viewing follow ups • Regular vendor feedback • Meeting monthly targets • Weekly sales meetings with Director • Assistance in all departments when required • Assisting and covering sales staff when required Position Requirements • Minimum of 3 years experience working for an estate or lettings agency • Proficient on property technology and property management applications • Good general knowledge of Birmingham City Centre and Edgbaston areas • Willingness to work as a team and assist other team members • Ability to work on your own effectively • Smart, proactive, enthusiastic, and confident when in an office and public environment • Able to work efficiently in a busy office environment • Competent with MS Office, outlook, and property management software • Excellent telephone manner • Competent representing the company with clients •Excellent written and verbal communication skills • Ability to multi-task, organize, and prioritize work • Education at degree level is preferable but not essential • Propertymark trained/qualified is preferable but not essential • Must have a car and clean driver’s license
