What You'll Be Doing:
As an Electrician, your responsibilities will include:
* Installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical systems on marine vessels and within our facility.
* Conducting inspections, diagnosing electrical issues, and implementing effective solutions to ensure safety and functionality.
* Interpreting electrical diagrams and technical specifications to plan and execute installations and repairs accurately.
* Collaborating with engineers, project managers, and other tradespeople to coordinate electrical work, ensuring timely project completion while adhering to safety standards and regulations.
What We're Looking For:
* Completion of a recognized apprenticeship or vocational training in Electrical Engineering (e.g., NVQ level 3 or equivalent).
* Proven experience as a Marine/Industrial Electrician or in a similar role within shipyard environments or on marine vessels.
* Strong knowledge of marine electrical systems, including wiring, lighting, communication systems, navigation equipment, and power generation systems.
* Excellent troubleshooting skills with the ability to diagnose and resolve electrical issues efficiently.
* Attention to detail and a commitment to producing high-quality work.
* Strong teamwork and communication skills, essential for successful project delivery.
* Ability to work in confined spaces, at heights, and in various outdoor conditions.
