Clinical Nurse Specialist Dermatology - Sefton
Are you an experienced Dermatology nurse with a passion for community care? Do you advocate for clinical excellence, innovation and a holistic approach? Are you looking to develop as a Dermatology leader?
Main duties of the job
This is a role for a confident Dermatology Nurse, with the skills and experience to lead community clinics across Sefton. You will be comfortable working independently in prescribing clinics and in carrying out minor operations, punch biopsies, curettage, shave and simple excisions. You will enjoy working with a diverse caseload, providing specialist advice, assessment and support to patients and their families across the community.
Job responsibilities
As a growing leader, you will work closely with our Service Manager and Lead Nurse to shape and develop the community Dermatology service.
You will contribute to MDT discussions to drive continuous improvement. You will role model high-quality, evidence-based care through your own nursing practice and promote these values through your compassionate leadership.
Your skills and background
Essential:
* NMC Level 1 Registered Nurse
* Non-Medical Independent Prescriber (V300)
* Specialist training in Dermatology-specific assessment and treatment
* Extensive clinical experience relevant to community Dermatology
This role can be offered on a full-time or part-time basis and will include the opportunity for home working. The independent nature of the role lends itself to flexibility and will allow you to shape the way you want to work.
