Reporting to the CEO, the primary focus of the Business Analyst is to assist the CEO to analyse data and identify ways the organisation can operate more effectively. To take the lead on cross functional projects where the ownership may not easily fit with one of the functional directors. Compiling information and presenting in a clear and concise manner for the CEO, Board or other key stakeholders. Exciting work you will be doing: Investigate all discovery points across the business, including but not limited to customer usage, product/service profitability and market mapping. Provide support across a range of activities and initiatives. Analysing data to identify operational improvements. Lead cross-functional projects and ensuring that they meet objectives. Assisting in the preparation of board presentations and conducting in-depth analysis to support executive decision making. Overseeing the establishment and tracking of key performance indicators. Managing CRM and BI systems, insuring data integrity, and leveraging insights for business improvements. Designing and implementing test plans to facilitate improvements and resolutions of problems. Identifying and managing associated risks and issues that impact business outcomes. Be the go-to person for projects that do not fall under specific functional leaders showcasing versatility and adaptability. Any other duties that commensurate with the role Skills required: Ability to analyse and report data from a variety of systems, including financial reports and be able to extract key data for specific commercial analysis. Have broad business knowledge being able to understand various aspects of the business, such as sales, finance, and business transformation. Knowledge of BI tools and systems, essential for data-driven decision-making. Ability to understand and drive business profitability and efficiency. Strong problem-solving skills. Exemplary written and presentation skills, producing clear, concise, and impactful presentations. Proficient in BI tools such as Power BI and Crystal reports T-SQL scripting Knowledge Current or previous software development experience (any language) Excellent knowledge of rational databases Advanced excel skills and Microsoft office 365 suite.
