The Role
As a Senior Process Engineer, you’ll manage the delivery of engineering and technical activities, applying process, domain knowledge, and experience.
Day-to-day, you’ll resolve specific technical issues, compile technical reports, and provide, review, and adhere to specifications in accordance with stakeholder requirements:
* Accountable for designs, developments, and determining solutions to problems within a specialist subject area.
* Able to work on a range of engineering problems involving high levels of complexity & uncertainty.
* Provides help and direction to less experienced team members.
* Assist in effective management of customer relationships.
* Promote effective cooperation across Engineering and other functional teams.
This role is full-time, 37 hours per week, requiring regular travel to Hessle alongside home working arrangements.
Agile working may be available, applying the principles of fairness and consistency while meeting business needs. We consider flexible, blended working, including part-time, condensed hours, and job sharing.
Essential Experience of the Senior Process Engineer
* Demonstrable experience working collaboratively in multi-discipline teams.
* Experience covering a variety of tasks across a range of complexities.
* Good communication skills and the ability to interface with other disciplines.
* Experience in the nuclear industry is ideal but not essential.
Qualifications for the Senior Process Engineer
* You must hold a chemical engineering degree.
* Ideally, you will be working towards chartership.
