King’s Park Primary School is a non-denominational school that serves the Dalkeith community. The school has a roll of 494 children from P1- P7 and offers 94 full time ELC places. Our school consists of three buildings within the grounds, catering to various learning needs.
We are seeking to appoint a dedicated and passionate Early Years Practitioner to join our current team. The successful candidate will demonstrate the ability to provide high-quality interactions, experiences, and spaces informed by the learner's interests. They will work collaboratively to develop an engaging outdoor learning environment that promotes curiosity, enquiry, and creativity.
KNOWLEDGE
Post holder must hold at least a practitioner level qualification, HNC Childhood Practice at SCQF Level 7; or SVQ Social Services (Children & Young People) at SCQF 7 or equivalents that meet the requirements for SSSC (Scottish Social Services Council) registration.
An up-to-date first aid certificate is also required.
