Job Description : Day Operator Glen Ord Permanent Closing date – 18th November 2024 We are delighted to share that we are searching for a Day Operator to join our team at Glen Ord Maltings in Muir of Ord Salary of £34503.66 which includes a competitive benefits package including pension, shares scheme and bonus Our Maltings team have an outstanding passion for what they do, and we are looking for a driven and diligent individual to bring their own unique contributions to the team This role will primarily be based at Glen Ord but will also support Teaninich. About the role The role will normally involve working alone and therefore there is a requirement to make decisions and work using own initiative. It works on a standard 38-hour week with the requirement to work weekends where vital to ensure compliant operation of plants. Main responsibilities include: Ensuring site hygiene is maintained to a high standard Compliance checks across your working area Spirit tankers are loaded safely and efficiently Supporting with various site daily tasks. Operation of Glen Ord Bioplant, Glen Ord Maltings and copper removal plant to ensure compliance of maltings and distillery effluent with legislative standards (SEPA), maintaining compliance. Operation of anaerobic digestion plant within consent Support operations of environmental plants and systems at other sites Review and report on analytical data to ensure plants operate within consents. Health and safety compliance is key and as a Day Operator, you will be at the forefront of making sure this is monitored and improved, while driving delivery of site targets.
