We are a young company having launched in November 2022, and a small, passionate team. VDP has an established boutique on Madison Avenue in New York City, an e-commerce site, plus top tier retail partnerships with Net-A-Porter, Isetan and others. JOB ROLE – MARKETING & COMMERCIAL EXECUTIVE The Marketing & Commercial Executive will play an important role in contributing to our overall brand growth by working alongside the Marketing, Design, Retail and Commercial teams to ensure smooth campaign execution, analysing performance metrics, managing special projects and supporting varied day-to-day operations. Working across audience behaviour and preferences, cultural and commercial insights, creative ideation and brand voice, you'll act as both an internal and external champion of the Veronica de Piante brand vision and customer proposition. REPORTING This role will report to the Brand Marketing Manager and work closely across all teams throughout the business KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: CAMPAIGN MANAGEMENT Maintain the trade marketing calendar, working closely with internal and external stakeholders to ensure consistency and alignment across all touchpoints, campaigns, product launches, and marketing initiatives. Cross-collaborate with internal teams to ensure clarity on marketing plan, aligning product inclusions and focuses to seasonal strategy Support the development and execution of integrated marketing campaigns across channels to amplify brand presence, engage and retain target audiences and drive awareness, consideration and purchase. Ideate, plan and manage localised marketing activity in the US/UK markets, utilising partnerships to create brand noise Build insightful reports on marketing and sales performance across channels, analysing brand performance metrics and KPIs to evaluate the effectiveness of marketing and commercial initiatives and make data-driven recommendations for continuous improvement EDITORIAL & CREATIVE Develop and oversee high-quality content across a variety of mediums Support the Brand Marketing Manager in researching, pitching and maintaining relationships with creative partners AGENCY MANAGEMENT Liaise with comms agency partner, attending weekly meetings and responding to enquiries, supplying information and assets as relevant Oversee and respond to incoming editorial and VIP requests from agency, liaising with Madison store on pulls for US agency Advise agency of upcoming and noteworthy brand activities, launches, etc SPECIAL PROJECTS Prioritise, plan and manage small-scale projects in the marketing and business calendar simultaneously, adhering to timelines and budgets. Support in developing a culture of luxury by monitoring competitor activities and trends, providing creative, cultural and consumer inspiration and insight to the team to inform brand strategies Plan and coordinate partnerships, sponsorships and events ensuring alignment to brand identity and strategy, supporting with the creation and management of marketing collateral as needed BUDGET MANAGEMENT Cost tracking for the department, reporting on marketing budgets, KPIS and expenses SKILLS You have experience in luxury or can demonstrate a strong understanding of and passion for the luxury customer, as well as industry dynamics You have a proven track record of project management, building strategic proposals and the ability to put ideas down on paper in a clear, concise and visually engaging manner. You have exemplary communication skills across visual, written and verbal with a warm and engaging manner in person You can rapidly grasp ideas, data and information, translating these into simple, compelling materials such as slides, decks and documents that can be easily understood by a wider audience You are confident in both curating and creating visuals, being an expert in what ‘good’ content looks like. You deploy a strong sense of aesthetics with attention to detail and taste levels You have a preference for working within a fast-paced environment, multitasking and handling multiple projects and stakeholders in an organised but flexible manner and with the ability to prioritise as needed
