This role is responsible for the successful achievement of project outcomes within the key constraints of time, cost, quality and risk. About the Role Level : Level 4 Department: Change Location : Southampton & London Contract type : Permanent Planning and Governance Supports the Change delivery portfolio plan within the defined business unit / function ensuring appropriate services and solutions are proposed, planned and delivered in alignment with the defined Portfolio outcomes. Utilises best practices to ensure Change projects are effectively defined, planned, resourced and delivered in alignment with the overall business unit / function requirements. Inputs and actively participates in the Community of Practice to shape improved or new ways of working in relation to Change delivery. Ensures project delivery is aligned to and delivered in accordance with Quilter policy and standards, and Community of Practice guidelines. Prioritises and manages capacity of the Project Delivery teams and sourced services to balance demand and efficiency and ensure the effective delivery of Change and Services. Service Improvement and Change Delivery Leads Change projects for a specific business unit / function, working in partnership with key stakeholders to ensure delivery in line with agreed milestones, priorities, standards and budget. Defines project organisation structures and resourcing models and plans the project and approach, with consideration for the dependencies and constraints and in line with the agreed governance process, standards and reporting. Manages project delivery, defining deliverables and milestones, documenting interdependencies and managing relationships with stakeholders to resolve issues and develop solutions to ensure successful project outcomes. Prioritises and deploys internal or sourced resources to ensure Change solutions and services are delivered effectively. Manages project risks and issues ensuring that they are impact-assessed mitigated and escalated where appropriate. Manages and monitors the project performance, progress against milestones, and appropriateness and quality of work, and where necessary takes corrective action. Ensures project plans are produced, actively maintained, of the appropriate detail, and consistently aligned to the project plan Develops and coaches resources assigned to the project, providing input into performance reviews and support to expand their capabilities and skillsets Manages and monitors the project budget providing appropriate guidance and decision making. Experience of complex or multiple project delivery using 3rd Parties (both delivering with and management of) for a variety of subject matters within the Financial Services industry. Experience of managing ‘Virtual’ teams across function, across businesses and geographies. In-depth knowledge and demonstrable application of different project delivery methodologies including Agile. Strong knowledge of budgeting and resource allocation, project planning presentation skills. Strong knowledge of the IT Software Development Lifecycles, associated methodologies and their practical application. Essential: APMQ or MSP or equivalent.
