Your support will be crucial to our leadership team and other regional colleagues, who are responsible for the planning, execution, and administration of our Initial Teacher Education provision. Due to our rapid growth, we are looking for an organised and proactive ITE Admissions Coordinator to support with the coordination of our admissions which involves managing expressions of interest, processing applications and managing all aspects of interview coordination and administration. We are currently in start-up mode, so your support will be crucial to our leadership team and other regional colleagues, who are responsible for the planning, execution, and administration of our Initial Teacher Education provision. About the role To succeed, you’ll be a seasoned administrator, with the skills and experience to hit the ground running. Naturally, you’ll be adept in the use of MS Office software packages, such as Word, Excel and Outlook. You’ll also have the people skills to communicate sensitively with a wide range of colleagues and stakeholders. Ideally, you’ll have some understanding of, or interest in, Teacher Training and the education sector. It would also be helpful if you’ve had exposure to events management, and education programme planning - particularly within a national organisation with multiple regional offices. This is a flexible, hybrid role with a mixture of days in the office and at home, and you’ll need to be available in-person, depending on organisation priorities. The office is based in Harris Institute, Peckham. As ITE Admissions Coordinator, you will: Manage expressions of interest for our ITT programme, including contacting candidates to provide pre-application support and converting leads into applicants. Take ownership of regional ITT inboxes and managing external recruitment queries. Support team members at regional recruitment events as necessary. Screen and shortlist applications for our Initial Teacher Teaching Programme, including reviewing eligibility, right to work, and candidate personal statements. Manage all aspects of interview coordination and administration, including scheduling, staffing, on-the-day setup and preparation, and associated administrative responsibilities. Support the Regional Recruitment Manager with retention and keep warm actions for incoming candidates, and support with school placement responsibilities as necessary. Work with the Regional Recruitment Manager and Partnerships and Marketing Manager, as required, to highlight challenges within pipelines, and to coordinate interventions as necessary. Manage and maintain all CRM and data responsibilities for ITT recruitment within the region. Support with wider administrative or general responsibilities as required by the team.
