Exciting opportunity for an experienced Project Manager to join a regional main contractor based in Colchester. As a Project Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the whole project from conception to completion whilst being responsible for health & safety, delivery, programming, cost & quality.
The principal contractor operates across the student accommodation, education, health care, commercial, and care home sectors. The ideal Project Manager candidate will have a background in these sectors.
Requirements and Responsibilities for the Project Manager candidate:
1. Ensure the project delivery is running on time and within clients' expectations.
2. Be the point of contact for the client and build a solid relationship to promote future business.
3. Produce programmes and run weekly programme meetings.
4. Manage site team and subcontractors.
5. Regular reporting upstream.
6. Have strong communication skills and good attention to detail.
7. Commercial awareness and work closely with the commercial team.
8. Good at problem solving and planning works.
9. Excellent attention to detail.
Experience required:
1. 5 years Project Management experience minimum.
2. CITB SMSTS.
3. CSCS.
4. First Aid.
5. Fire Marshall.
6. Asbestos Management.
