Legionella Risk Assessor key responsibilities:
1. To act as a surveyor of air and water quality on behalf of the company
2. Carrying out Legionella and Ventilation (BS EN 15780) risk assessments in accordance with the Approved Code of Practice L8 & HSG274.
3. Establish statutory compliance and benchmark systems against industry standards.
4. Liaise with clients to develop action plans for sites not meeting L8 practice.
5. Conduct monthly competency audits and identify upselling/cross-selling opportunities.
6. Carry out Legionella Risk Assessments, Temperature Monitoring, and other water-related services.
7. Perform Ventilation Surveys according to BS EN 15780 / TR19.
8. Use Visio system to produce schematic drawings (training provided if required).
9. Deliver Legionella Awareness Training to clients.
10. Maintain daily communication with the office to update job progress.
11. Write up reports, entering site data and forming conclusions/recommendations.
12. Adhere to company procedures and liaise with the sales team on site issues.
Legionella Risk Assessor requirements:
13. A full UK driving license is essential.
14. 2 years post qualification experience in a similar role.
15. Strong understanding of Legionella and Ventilation risk assessments.
16. Excellent communication and customer service skills.
17. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
18. Proficient in using digital systems for compliance reporting.
19. Ability to conduct and deliver training sessions.
