Responsibilities of this Control's Project Manager role:
Lead and manage process control projects from inception to completion.
Develop detailed project plans, including scope, timelines, and budgets.
Coordinate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders to achieve project objectives.
Prepare and maintain documentation related to control systems and project activities.
Ensure compliance with safety regulations, industry standards, and company policies.
Analyse process data to identify improvement opportunities and implement control strategies.
Interact with customers, maintenance, and production employees to resolve issues.
Manage development efforts, including task assignment, project plan reviews, and cost/resource monitoring.
Provide technical guidance and support to field personnel and contractors.
Liaise with clients to understand needs, address concerns, and ensure project satisfaction.
Conduct training and foster professional development with production and maintenance employees.
Identify potential risks and develop mitigation strategies.
Utilise CMMS (Pemac) for management of project-related tasks.
Skills & Qualifications required in this Control's Project Manager Role:
Degree in Electrical, Computer, or Controls Engineering with a minimum of 3 years' experience in industrial controls.
Proficient in several programming languages and control device networks, including Siemens, Allen Bradley, and ABB.
Experienced with HMI design, PID loops, and machine networking.
Strong project management and leadership skills;
Prince2 or similar would be beneficial.
Effective communication and interpersonal abilities.
Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment. The benefits of this Control's Project Managers role:
Basic salary of up to £60,000 depending on experience
Monday - Friday 7.30am - 4pm
25 days holiday + Bank holidays
