Job Description
This role is centered around hydraulic component repair within a workshop setting. The Pump Shop Technician is responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and testing hydraulic pumps, valves, and motors to ensure optimal performance and customer satisfaction. They play a key role in the maintenance and restoration of hydraulic systems.
Job Duties Include:
1. Diagnose and repair hydraulic pumps, valves, and motors, ensuring they meet quality and safety standards.
2. Disassemble, inspect, and identify faulty components in hydraulic components.
3. Perform necessary repairs, including replacement of damaged parts, reconditioning, and assembly.
4. Test repaired components to ensure they function correctly and meet specifications.
5. Collaborate with other team members and provide technical expertise in hydraulic component repair.
6. Maintain a clean and organized workspace to enhance efficiency and safety.
7. Communicate effectively with supervisors and other team members regarding repair progress and any potential challenges.
8. Adhere to safety protocols and guidelines to maintain a secure working environment.
Skills/Qualifications:
1. Proven experience in hydraulic component repair or related mechanical field.
2. Strong understanding of hydraulic systems, pumps, valves, and motors.
3. Proficient in the disassembly, repair, and reassembly of hydraulic components.
