HGV Class 1 Drivers - Erith & Dartford

Immediate Starts | Paid Breaks | Flexible Shifts

Staffing Match is proud to be working in partnership with our client, one of the big 4 Supermarkets at their distribution depots in Erith and Dartford. We're looking for HGV Class 1 Drivers to join our team - only 6 months of experience needed! We are looking for flexible drivers who can work out of either depot if required. Both part-time and full-time shifts available.

Some deliveries to smaller stores may require driving an HGV 2 vehicle.


Shifts and pay rates as an HGV Class 1 Driver:

Average paid shifts are 11-15 hours per day. All breaks are paid!!

1. Pay between 14.00 - 22.00
2. Basic £17.75 P/H
3. Overtime £24.21 P/H - after 45 hours
4. Pay between 22.00 - 06.00
5. Basic £19.93
6. Overtime £26.39 P/H - after 45 hours
7. Pay between 06.00 - 14.00
8. Basic £17.00 P/H
9. Overtime £23.46 P/H - after 45 hours


Shift patterns available:

FULL TIME / PART TIME / AD HOC


Your responsibilities as a Class 1 Driver:

1. Duties include completing 1-4 deliveries to stores as required.
2. Deliveries can be either caged or palletised.
3. Completing paperwork.


Class 1 Driver - About you:

1. HGV 1 C+E licence.
2. Digital tacho & DQC card.
3. Minimum 6 months experience.
4. No more than 6 points. No DR, DD, CD, IN10's.
5. Be able to pass a theory and practical driving assessment.
