About the Department
The Communications, Marketing and Recruitment (CMR) department plays a central role in telling the Goldsmiths story to our key audiences. The department covers internal communications, media relations, strategic communications, brand and design, digital (website, video and social media), marketing, business partnering, and UK and International recruitment. About the role
We are looking for an Assistant Video Producer to join our Marketing and Events team. This exciting role involves creating high-quality, multi-channel video content to support student recruitment campaigns. You’ll bring to life the experiences, stories, and achievements of our students and staff through engaging visual storytelling.
The role will involve planning, shooting, and editing videos for platforms such as the Goldsmiths website, YouTube, Instagram, and TikTok. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who is passionate about filmmaking and ready to take their next step in a professional, creative environment.
About the candidate
Are you a filmmaker with a creative flair and a knack for storytelling? If so, we’d love to hear from you.
We’re looking for someone who:
1. Has experience filming and editing their own videos using professional equipment such as DSLRs.
2. Is confident setting up shoots, including lighting and sound.
3. Enjoys interviewing people and capturing their stories authentically.
4. Understands how to create content that resonates with audiences across platforms like Instagram, YouTube, and TikTok.
You should also be organised, detail-oriented, and comfortable managing multiple projects, from planning and filming to editing and signing off content.
This role is ideal for someone who is already producing their own content and ready to bring their skills into a professional setting.
