We’re looking for a part-time Video Content Creator who is hot on current trends and a bit of a buff when it comes to film, TV and iconic characters, mainly from British culture.
This permanent opportunity is ideally offered on an employed basis, but those who are freelance or self-employed will also be considered, if that is your preference. The role is expected to grow into a full-time position, though it could also stay part-time, if that were the successful candidate's preference.
Located at the company’s offices in Ipswich, this role isn’t open for hybrid or remote working. The salary/rate of pay is very much negotiable depending on the skills and experience brought to the role.
The Company
Our client is a well-established licensing and print company that works with 60+ individual brands to create and print their merchandise. Think iconic characters from TV and Film, mainly from the UK but also some global superstars, too!
The Job
You’ll be working solo in a small studio creating engaging, witty, professional and creative video content (TikTok/YT/IG Reels) plus conducting the odd live stream, using the company’s iconic character brands to sell products.
As a new role in the business, it’s up to you to work closely with the MD and marketing team to shape the way the company promotes and sells online using effective video content. With the choice to continue working under a couple of pre-existing channels, or to create individual channels for some of the company’s best-selling character brands, they are open-minded about what direction this person will take things, so long as it works!
On a day-to-day basis, you’ll be planning ideas for videos, filming, editing and scheduling/posting mainly short-form content for TikTok and occasionally longer form content for TikTok, IG Reels and YouTube. There may also be the need to go live on streaming platforms for new product launches, etc.
Requirements
This role would suit a confident person who is happy in front of the camera and has a creative mindset combined with precision editing skills. You’ll need to be up on trends and themes in popular content across different platforms. You’ll be a bit of a chameleon – able to create content for diverse character brands from beloved kids’ characters to iconic grown-up telly shows and film.
How to Apply
