Job summary
Are you passionate about gaining Enhanced Care experience/skills to provide care and support to women requiring Enhanced Care? The post holder will work collaboratively with the Midwifery Team and will report to the Lead for Enhanced Care.
This post is a substantive Full Time post (12 hours), and it offers the successful applicant the chance to play a role in the development, implementation and delivery of care in our EMC team.
Main duties of the job
The Post Holder is
Responsible and accountable for the delivery of high quality, effective and compassionate nursing care in Maternity caring for level 1 plus women as part of the EMC team. This includes assessment, planning, implementing and evaluating individualised care in collaboration with the Maternity team. Specific training will be provided with reference to recognition of the acutely ill woman.
The post holder will require registration and a willingness to develop clinical and theoretical knowledge. The post holder will play a role in the development of the service and will need to be motivated, and enthusiastic to learn.
