Are a nationwide housing and property company. They are one of the UK's leading non-profit housing associations with strong portfolios and pipelines of ambitious projects. They are looking for an Assistant Accountant to join immediately on a temporary contract.
Your new role
As the Assistant Accountant, you will be responsible for assisting with the preparation of monthly management accounts, budgeting, forecasting, and providing financial analysis to support strategic decision-making. You will work closely with senior accountants to ensure financial practices are in line with regulatory standards.
What you'll need to succeed
You will have:
* Previous experience working in management accounts
* Previous experience working in the public or not for profit sectors
* A high level of proficiency in using Microsoft Excel and other financial software (Oracle desirable)
* An ability to work independently and as part of a team
* An ability to communicate effectively with various stakeholders, both verbally and in writing
