Role: Outdoor Educator

Type: Full time, long-term initially (opportunity to become permanent)
Salary: £14.45 - £15.20 per hour
Are you a passionate and energetic professional who thrives in outdoor environments? Do you want to inspire and support children through outdoor learning and physical activity? We are seeking an Outdoor Educator to join a dedicated and supportive team in a specialist educational setting, helping children engage in outdoor and PE-based activities.
Key responsibilities:
* Support children 1:1 in outdoor learning and physical education, encouraging participation and confidence building
* Assist with planning and delivering engaging outdoor activities that promote physical well-being, teamwork, and resilience
* Help create a safe and inclusive outdoor learning environment, ensuring all children can take part
* Monitor progress, provide encouragement, and adapt activities to meet individual needs
* Build strong, positive relationships with students, parents, and caregivers to support overall development
What we’re looking for:
* A committed and enthusiastic individual with a passion for outdoor education and working with children
* Experience supporting children in an educational, sports coaching, or outdoor activity setting (SEND experience is a bonus!)
* Adaptable, energetic, and willing to get involved in all aspects of outdoor learning
* An enhanced child workforce DBS on the update service (or willingness to obtain one)
