About Tekever Defence
Tekever Defence is responsible for developing and delivering TEKEVERs capabilities to the Defence market. The Business Unit is organized into six core departments: Engineering, Capability, Futures, Operations, Delivery, and Business Development & Strategy.
The Business Development Support role is a key position within the newly formed Business Development Team. This team collaborates with defence end-users worldwide to identify opportunities, shape strategies, and drive market expansion. By translating global market insights into actionable business opportunities and managing the sales pipeline, the team delivers strategic growth and innovation in UAS, autonomy, and software.
Role Overview
The Business Development Support role focuses on:
* Conducting market research and analysis to provide actionable insights.
* Developing high-quality presentations and materials to support customer engagement.
* Assisting in bid preparation and proposal processes.
* Supporting Senior Business Development Managers in strategy execution and client interactions.
As part of the broader Business Development team, you may also:
* Represent TEKEVER at conferences and exhibitions.
* Contribute to strategic initiatives across the organisation.
Key Responsibilities
* Conduct detailed market analysis and generate comprehensive reports.
* Prepare presentation materials for client and stakeholder engagement.
* Assist in preparing responses for bids and proposals.
* Provide administrative and strategic support to the Business Development team.
Essential Competencies
* Bachelors degree in Business, Marketing, Finance, Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
* Post-graduate education in a relevant discipline is desirable.
* Previous experience in business development support, sales support, or administrative roles.
* Familiarity with CRM systems and other business development tools.
* Understanding of UAS and airspace industry systems (e.g., aircraft, sensors, software).
* Strong interpersonal skills with a proven ability to deliver high-quality work.
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
* Highly organised with the ability to multitask effectively.
* Enthusiastic, proactive, and detail-oriented mindset.
* Capability to work independently and within a cross-functional team.
