We are looking for an IT Infrastructure & Security Manager to join our Global IT & Service department within our Head Office in Viables, Basingstoke. Reporting to the Group IT Director, this role will lead the IT Infrastructure & IT Security teams (circa 15 direct and indirect reports) in the design, delivery and implementation of IT services within a secure framework. It will be responsible for coordinating and managing infrastructure & Security resources for project tasks, system builds and will maintain operational support across internal and production systems. This role will contribute to CAB, incident and problem resolution in line with business needs, priorities and service levels, and working within the guidelines and principles set-out in the ISO27001 Information Security Policy, the IT Infrastructure and Security Manager will ensure safeguards are applied to De La Rue information system assets. This role will form part of the Group IT Senior Leadership Team and the post holder will be expected to deputise for their immediate line manager in their absence when required. Key Responsibilities To provide day-to-day leadership to the IT Infrastructure & IT Security teams including resource alignment and ownership of incident and problem resolution to ensure robust support and delivery of the Infrastructure & IT security services across the Enterprise. Contribute to strategic direction for IT Operations & IT Security, suggesting ways to enhance or improve operational efficiencies Working closely with Head of Information Security and Compliance, ensure adherence to all compliance policies & process throughout the department. Plan for internal and external audit requirements (ISO270001 & ISO14298) and associated action plans. Support Information Assurance with thorough analysis of penetration test results to identify vulnerabilities and weaknesses. Develop and implement comprehensive remedial action plans to address identified issues, ensuring enhanced security measures and compliance with industry standards Act as a deputy to the Group IT Director in their absence, specifically around upward communication and escalation Manage IT infrastructure elements of RCA investigations and resolution of incidents Provide leadership and guidance across all IT infrastructure teams ensuring that both technical and non-technical elements of the IT strategies and policies are adhered to at all times. Provide constructive feedback on documentation for IT Operations and Projects, including but not limited to operating procedures, how-to guides and build guides. Ensure consistent contribution to RFC definition, approval and implementation Produce reports for operational activity, Incident RCA’s, Problem investigations and management meetings. Support and encourage the use of best practices in planning and coordination of operational activities and projects. To support the behaviour of collaborative working, sharing best practice and with colleagues outside of own sphere of business. Recognize problems by identifying abnormalities and trends and recommend and Implement security improvements. Keep Group IT Director, Head of Information Security and Compliance, wider IT management, informed via KPI performance reports and strategy planning. Contract type: Permanent Working hours: Full Time – 36.5 hrs per week (9am – 5:15pm Mon, 9am – 5pm Tues – Fri) Base location: Basingstoke Viables Skills, Qualifications & Experience Graduate degree or equivalent experience in IT or related subjects Extensive experience working in a secure IT environment Management experience of a highly skilled multi-faceted technical team High level technical expertise with good organisational/project management skills Excellent Technology skills in a complex Operational environment, with an ability to understand new technical concepts quickly. Strong Analytical and problem solving skills Ability to make decisions on technical issues and incidents whilst working to tight SLA and OLA targets Working knowledge ITIL Knowledge and Experience of Protective Monitoring Principles and Practices Working knowledge of System Administration, M365, Infrastructure and Networks, Problem Solving, Information Security Policies, On-Call, Troubleshooting, Databases (SQL), Compliance and ISO standards Presentation and communication skills with the ability and confidence to talk to senior levels with a non-technical, clear and concise way.
