We’re looking for an educator who is eager to inspire students and deepen their understanding of human behavior and mental processes. This role involves teaching Psychology at Key Stage 4 and Key Stage 5, supporting students as they navigate critical topics in preparation for exams and higher education.
Key Responsibilities
* Teaching : Deliver engaging and comprehensive Psychology lessons to students across Key Stages 4 and 5, fostering a strong foundation in psychological theories, research methods, and applications.
* Curriculum Development : Collaborate with the department to enrich the Psychology curriculum, incorporating the latest research and promoting critical thinking skills.
* Student Progress : Assess and track student progress, offering constructive feedback and preparing them effectively for assessments and exams.
* Classroom Engagement : Foster an inclusive and thought-provoking classroom environment, encouraging open discussions and respect for diverse perspectives.
* School Community Contribution : Actively participate in department and school-wide meetings, and support the sharing of best practices across the department.
About You
We are looking for a qualified teacher (QTS or equivalent) with a degree in Psychology or a related subject. The ideal candidate will have experience teaching Psychology at KS4 and KS5 and be passionate about helping students develop a deeper understanding of psychological concepts and research.
