This company has long-established trade routes into some of the most prolific consumers of hot rolled flat products in the UK and Europe with a substantial presence in Engineering, Automotive, and some of the most critical construction projects both on and offshore.
After significant investment in new state-of-the-art steel plate processing equipment, the company requires a Business Development Manager to join the already successful flat products division with a view to nurturing, growing, and maintaining a set portfolio of high-profile key accounts and identifying and securing new business within the defined geographical location or market sector.
This is an excellent opportunity for a candidate with experience in steel plate or sheet metal sales to join an established organisation that has long-term expansion plans both in terms of increasing the volume of stock held and their processing capacity.
Responsibilities
1. Managing, developing, and strengthening a portfolio of key accounts while generating new business and driving sales across the core industry sectors.
2. Increasing market share within the region through promoting and selling the company's product range and targeting project-based new business.
3. Providing sales and technical support for hot rolled carbon products and identifying any opportunities to promote our added value services.
4. Managing relationships with regional customers and planning and implementing targeted campaigns.
5. Attending marketing conferences, exhibitions, and seminars to promote the company, their product range, service offering, and delivery service.
