We are currently seeking someone who is flexible and enthusiastic to join our team on our short stay ward - Sky A at Queens Hospital. We will expect you to provide comprehensive, efficient, and effective clerical support to nursing and medical staff at ward level. The post holder will promote and encourage a caring and sympathetic environment for patients, relatives, and staff, ensuring that high standards of service are continually maintained.
The post holder will be the first point of contact for other departments, patients' relatives, and outside agencies. The nature of duties undertaken within this post dictates that strict confidentiality is maintained at all times. Shift times are 7:30 am to 8:00 pm, covering Monday to Sunday, and you may be asked to work ward clerk shifts at King George Hospital when needed.
