Position
Teacher of English and/or Media Studies (temporary post, fixed-term contract until July 2025)
We seek a temporary teacher of English and/or Media Studies to add capacity to our English and Media Studies department over the next two terms. We welcome applications from teachers able to teach any of the following courses offered by the department: English in Year 9 (Fourth Form); IGCSE English Language and IGCSE English Literature; A-Level Media Studies. We welcome applications from candidates interested in part- or full-time positions.
The successful candidate will have a genuine passion for English and/or Media Studies, a desire to inspire this in others and will be eager to develop their own teaching skills.
Full-time teachers at Bedford are also expected to play a full part in the extensive games and co-curricular activities programme and be a Tutor attached to a boarding or day house. We welcome applications from all English specialists, and from all backgrounds, to provide good role models for our global students.
