Workman's Recruitment is partnering with a highly regarded and long-established Social Housing Contractor renowned for its exceptional service in offering building maintenance and construction services to housing associations, councils, and the education sector for over 80 years in London and the Southeast of England.
You will oversee and coordinate multiple sites, ensuring work is executed to specified standards while minimizing risk to personnel, contractors, the public, and resources. This entails adherence to client specifications and site health and safety protocols.
Responsibilities:
1. Supervising a team of DLO, Subcontractors, and Forepersons, establishing appropriate performance objectives, and regularly assessing their training requirements.
2. Ensuring everyone adheres to company policies/procedures and high standards of health and safety protocols.
3. Guaranteeing compliance with CDM regulations concerning work activities.
4. Conducting and documenting site safety inspections to verify compliance.
5. Regular site visits, inspecting completed works, identifying any issues, and providing corrective measures as necessary.
6. Assisting in assessing subcontractors' performance and health and safety records upon completion of projects.
Requirements:
1. Full Manuel UK Driver's License
2. BM Trada or equivalent certification.
3. SSSTS/SMSTS Certification
4. CSCS Card
5. Experience in the social housing and FRA industry
6. Strong understanding of Health and Safety regulations
7. Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
