A full time vacancy has arisen for Finance Assistant to join a small Finance Team currently based in Widnes. Hours are 35 hours per week that can be managed at your own discretion within the office opening hours of 8am-5pm, Mon-Fri. Strong communication and inter-personal skills are required for dealing with customers on a daily basis as well as Excel and numerical proficiency. Ensuring back-up documentation received from third party logistics partners in a timely manner. Verifying pricing in conjunction with Managers. Ad-hoc reporting requirements for Managers. Support Accounts Receivable Administrator during busy periods. Customs documentation for transport between UK and EU. Support Financial Controller with EU VAT returns and intrastat reporting. Other ad-hoc duties as and when required.
