We are looking for a Trainee Dental Nurse to join our team of nurses at Rossendale Dental. Our ideal candidate would have a good work ethic and easily adapt to working in a large team as a team player.
Full support will be received throughout your training from your mentor, senior nurse, and manager. You will be employed for 37.5 hours per week, which will include one day release with a training provider.
Successful candidates will be employed on an apprenticeship contract with a view to working towards and gaining a Level 3 Advanced Apprenticeship in Dental Nursing which includes Functional Skills in English and Mathematics and Employment and Personal Learning Skills in Health. On successful completion of this programme, you will be able to register with the General Dental Council, which gives a dental nurse a wider scope of practice where they can develop within dental radiography, oral health, sedation, or orthodontic nursing.
This is an excellent career pathway for future development. Apprentices can also aspire to become dental hygienists and therapists, practice managers.
Responsibilities
* Provide high-quality patient care by assisting dentists during procedures and ensuring patient comfort.
* Maintain accurate patient records and documentation in compliance with GDC regulations.
* Communicate effectively with patients, addressing their concerns and providing necessary information.
* Organize and manage dental supplies and equipment to ensure a smooth workflow.
* Collaborate with the dental team to enhance patient experiences and outcomes.
