Job Description:
Job Duties:
* Provide tailored English and Maths tutoring to Key Stage 3 students with Special Educational Needs (SEN) in an outreach setting (learners home or local setting)
* Develop and deliver engaging lessons that cater to individual learning styles and abilities
* Create educational materials and resources to support students' progress and development
* Monitor and assess students' academic performance and provide constructive feedback
* Collaborate with parents, teachers, and support staff to ensure the educational needs of students are met
Required Qualifications:
* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or relevant teaching qualification
* Experience working with students with Special Educational Needs (SEN)
* Knowledge of the Key Stage 3 curriculum for English and Maths
Experience:
* At least 2 years of experience in teaching or tutoring
Knowledge and Skills:
* Strong understanding of SEN teaching strategies and methodologies
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
* Ability to adapt teaching methods to meet the diverse needs of students
Working Conditions:
* Part-time position with flexible hours
* Work primarily in a learners home or local setting (library)
* Collaboration with parents, teachers, and support staff

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
