Job Summary My client is seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Bookkeeper to join their team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing financial records, ensuring accuracy in financial reporting, and maintaining the overall financial health of the organisation. This role requires proficiency in various accounting software, including QuickBooks and Xero, as well as a solid understanding of accounts payable processes. Duties Maintain accurate financial records and ensure compliance with relevant regulations. Process accounts payable and receivable transactions efficiently. Prepare monthly financial statements and reports for management review. Reconcile bank statements and ensure all discrepancies are resolved promptly. Assist with budgeting and forecasting activities as required. Collaborate with external auditors during annual audits to provide necessary documentation. Utilise accounting software such as QuickBooks, Xero, Sage, or other relevant tools to manage financial data effectively. Monitor cash flow and assist in managing the organisation's financial resources. Requirements Proven experience as a Bookkeeper or in a similar accounting role. Proficiency in accounting software, particularly QuickBooks and Xero; experience with Sage is advantageous. Strong understanding of accounts payable processes and general accounting principles. Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in data entry. Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks effectively. Strong organisational skills and the ability to meet deadlines consistently. Good communication skills, both written and verbal, to liaise with team members and external stakeholders.
