Job Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Fire and Security Installations Engineer to join the VOCA Fire Protection (VFP) operations and installations team. This role involves working on a diverse range of projects, including hotels, schools, retail outlets, and leisure facilities.
The ideal candidate will be self-motivated, approachable, and capable of working effectively as part of a team. They will welcome opportunities to work with innovative systems and products, demonstrate expertise across multiple disciplines, and maintain high standards in all aspects of their work.
Key Responsibilities:
* Installation and Maintenance: Carry out the installation and servicing of fire and security systems to a high standard.
* Fault Finding: Diagnose and resolve issues efficiently across various systems and disciplines.
* Collaboration: Work closely with team members to complete projects on time and exceed client expectations.
* Leadership by Example: Set an exemplary standard of quality, professionalism, and conduct.
* Innovation: Embrace new technologies and system innovations to enhance performance and results.

Location:
Cumbria & North East; occasionally you may be asked to travel further distances, and overnight stays are a possibility, however, this is very limited and is down to the engineer’s discretion. (Head office is based in North West)
Working Hours:
Working hours are flexible due to the nature of the business; the candidate will be expected to meet clients and scheduling requests.

Qualifications Required:
Fire Alarm Installation experience: min 3 years
Security experience: min 1 year
Salary:
£32,000 - £40,000 (plus overtime as required)
