IT Procurement Manager – INTERIM CONTRACT - ‘Brownfield’ Challenge - £500-£600 per day (inside IR35) - Remote
This global business is undergoing a huge transformation within Procurement, centralizing the function and developing category strategies across the Indirect Function. This opportunity will see you working in partnership with the Head of IT Procurement to tackle critical IT projects within the first 3 months, with the potential to be extended to develop and implement effective category strategies across the full complement of IT.
Role Overview; IT Procurement Manager:
* Identifying key IT projects to initially focus on and deliver outstanding cost savings across Tech Ops (e.g. Snow, Google Tenant Migrations, Zoom), Security (e.g. CyberArk, Genetec), CRM (e.g. Zoominfo, OwnBackup)
* Managing and influencing stakeholders across the business at all levels to ensure understanding and ‘buy-in’ of Procurement beyond the top levels of the business
* Engaging critical suppliers on a regular basis to develop commercially beneficial supplier relationships
Key Skills and Procurement Experience required:
* Experience in the end to end strategic procurement process, including supplier relationship management, within the IT and Technology categories
* A CV highlighting excellent cost savings achieved on £Multi-Million, complex IT spends as a result of strategic commercial activity
* Outstanding stakeholder management and engagement skills; able to influence and manage ‘difficult’ stakeholders to achieve buy-in to Procurement
