We are seeking a dynamic Estimator/Contract Manager, with a meticulous eye for detail, to join our friendly team based in Rochester, to work with our Reactive and Planned works for our Social Housing contracts.

As part of our team, you will work closely with an experienced Quantity Surveyor/Estimator, collaborating to deliver accurate pricing, follow up on opportunities, and secure contracts. You will be able to price and secure work by excellent communication via phone, email, and face-to-face meetings. The role includes some traveling in order to meet Clients and sites that you may be responsible for when pricing work.
Duties and Responsibilities:
1. Interpret photographic surveys and produce comprehensive scopes of work.
2. Prepare pricing based on the NHF Schedule of Rates (Social Housing).
3. Generate ad-hoc cost checks as needed.
4. Create PO and VO packages for subcontractors and Clients.
5. Manage subcontractor and Client accounts.
6. Assist in follow-ups and in securing contracts.
7. Ability to secure priced work and maintain good Client relationships is essential.
Qualifications:
1. Minimum of 3 years’ experience in pricing Social Housing projects from the Schedule of Rates.
2. Proven experience in pricing roofing contracts.
3. Background in pricing domestic construction contracts.
4. Experience in preparing Extensions of Time, final accounts, and valuations.
5. Driver's Licence, ability to travel Nationally using Company Vehicle.
