Job Title: EC&I Manager
Summary:
We are seeking an experienced and driven EC&I Manager to lead our high-tech manufacturing facility's electrical, control, and instrumentation systems. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for ensuring the efficiency, reliability, and safety of our production operations.
Role Overview:
In this leadership role, you will oversee a talented EC&I team responsible for maintaining, designing, and optimising key systems within our facility. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to implement control technologies that enhance efficiency, support safety, and drive continuous improvement.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Lead and develop the EC&I team, fostering a culture of safety, collaboration, and high performance.
2. Oversee the maintenance, troubleshooting, and optimization of EC&I equipment and systems.
3. Plan, budget, and execute electrical, control, and instrumentation projects.
4. Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations, including HSE and ATEX.
5. Drive continuous improvement initiatives to optimize plant efficiency and reduce operational costs.
6. Collaborate across teams to align EC&I systems with production goals.
7. Maintain EC&I documentation, procedures, and standards.
Ideal Candidate Profile:
* Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Control & Instrumentation, or a related field.
* Demonstrated experience in an EC&I role within a manufacturing or industrial setting; experience in the chemical industry is a plus.
* Expertise in electrical, control, and instrumentation systems with a strong safety and regulatory compliance focus.
* Familiarity with ATEX, DSEAR, HAZOP, and SIL standards.
* Proven leadership skills with the ability to manage and mentor a high-performing team.
* Strong problem-solving skills with a proactive and solution-oriented approach.
* Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
