We are looking for caring, trustworthy and dedicated individuals to join our team in An Carina.
About the role
Every day is different as we promote our service users to make their own choices and achieve their goals.
Working with a variety of individuals in An Carina you will provide support with:
Day to day tasks
Personal care
Medication administration
Social integration
Hobbies and interests
Appointments
You will help to organise and participate in activities and you’ll support a range of life skills. You will be comfortable with lone working during a typical shift.
Due to the nature of the role and the activities the people we support like to participate in a driver with a clean license is required. You won’t be asked to use your own vehicle. We have a small service minibus that drivers must be confident to drive around the local area.
You will be able to help people you support to live the life they want, ensuring they have choices and control over the planning and delivery of their support. You will enable them to reach their potential by providing both physical and emotional support, along with encouraging them to develop positive relationships socially. You will be working with individuals both in the day centre and within the community
Shift pattern and working hours:
21 Hours per week
Working 9am to 3pm, 3 days per week Monday to Friday.
At An Carina we are a lively day service! The people we support enjoy a variety of activities including: swimming, horse riding, going to the gym, socialising, shopping and spending time with friends and family.
An enhanced Adult PVG is required for this role
