Role Description
This is a hybrid role for an offshore installation manager within the wind energy sector to oversee the regulatory compliance of offshore wind projects.
Job description:
1. Analyse, recommend and optimise offshore installation, logistics concepts and installation procedures prior to and during installation.
2. Prepare technical invitation-to-tender documents.
3. In cooperation with Package and Contract manager; tender, negotiate and recommend installation contracts including MWS.
4. Manage offshore installation contractor and MWS including cross discipline cooperation within the project team.
5. Ensure contractor's delivery and own review of method statements and risk assessments.
6. Set up and implement HAZID/HAZOP for installation design / offshore installation operations.
7. Provide progress reports to PM for all managed contracts including all significant technical risks, and develop contingency plans.
8. Supervise and approve trialling, tool development, loading and vessel setup.
9. Supervise installation campaign initiation offshore.
10. Manage Clients Representatives and QA Daily Progress Report.
11. Create, monitor and control execution of Design Quality (Reporting) and QAS and align input from Supplier quality.
12. Management of product NCR.
13. Review of method statements from Supplier.
14. Review of product and as-built documentation during AP execution phase.
Requirements:
1. We need an experienced person preferably with knowledge of rsted.
2. Knowledge of Array cable installation.
3. Knowledge of cable laying.
4. Knowledge of cable pulling.
5. Knowledge of cable protection systems.
Duration:
12 months. 40h/week. 7 days travelling expected per month.
