An opportunity has become available for an experienced Fire Safety Engineer to join our growing Expert Witness and Advisory Services (EWAS) team. Role and Responsibilities Initially the role will be assisting the lead expert on a broad range of UK building and construction projects. Previous dispute and expert advisory/witness experience would be ideal but is not essential. You will be contributing to the growth and development of the team, adding value to our growing business Experience and skills required: To be considered for this role you should gave gained extensive experience gained of working in a related role which you can evidence during interview and possess / be: Preferably a member of IFE Broad project experience from a consultancy, engineering, or an approval background (10 years ) Strong technical background with an enquiring and logical thought process. An objective approach to problem solving Sound knowledge of past/current industry standards, regulations, guidance, and good engineering practices Able to assimilate large amounts of technical information and get to the crux of the issue Able to communicate complex technical matters to the non-technical in both written and oral communication Strong interpersonal skills Flexible working attitude and have the ability to work under pressure and to deadlines Flexible to travel regionally for site visits, etc
