An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Senior Administration Assistant who will be responsible for the provision of an efficient and comprehensive secretarial service to the Children’s Care Group under the direction of the Children's care group CAMHS Administration Lead.
If you don't already have a Level 3 qualification or equivalent experience in a relevant subject, RDaSH are offering this post alongside the opportunity for you to complete a Level 3 apprenticeship qualification [relevant to your role].
As an apprentice within RDaSH you will be given the opportunity to gain experience, learn work-related skills and obtain all the tools needed to thrive.
An apprenticeship includes regular training with a college or other training organisation. Around 20% of your working hours will be spent training or studying. This leads to a nationally recognised qualification.

• Provide a senior confidential, quality administrative service to an identified branch of services within the Children’s Care Group as part of Single Point of Contact Model.
• To communicate effectively, accurately and professionally, applying discretion and empathy where necessary, with written, telephone and face to face contact, with patients, visitors, other Trust staff and external agencies.
• Have an understanding/knowledge and be able to work towards the KPI’s and targets set by the commissioners.
• Provide and receive routine information to work colleagues and clients. Exchange information with clients requiring tact and diplomacy.
• Maintain quality in own work and encourage others to do so whilst working as an effective and responsible senior team member.
• Update annual leave rota and daily cover rota to ensure there is adequate cover at all times
• Ensure the smooth running of the administration staff ensuring all areas/clinics are covered on a day to day basis; including liaising with clinical staff when required
• Deal with any day to day problems that arise within the admin team such as staffing issues, technological issues ensuring effective resolution and continuity of services.
• Undertake line management of a team of administrators, providing daily support and undertake a range of HR associated duties such as supervision meetings, sickness recording and completion of personal development review meetings.
