Salary: £55,000 - £61,500 - Negotiable, dependent on experience

This role presents an exciting opportunity for a skilled Support Engineer to contribute to design excellence by integrating through-life support considerations into systems engineering. As a key technical expert, you will play a pivotal role in optimizing design for supportability within a complex and impactful program.
What You’ll Be Doing:
* Acting as the Subject Matter Expert (SME) for Reliability-Centred Maintenance and Through-Life Support within the Systems Engineering team.
* Shaping the development of model-based artefacts to ensure alignment with the entire lifecycle of the platform, reducing risks and enhancing future deliverables.
* Providing proactive input on through-life implications as the engineering approach evolves.
* Ensuring the six Integrated Product Support (IPS) elements are incorporated into the model-based engineering approach and related artefacts.
Your Skills and Experiences:
Essential:
* Degree in Systems Engineering or equivalent professional experience.
* Strong background in Systems Engineering with familiarity with associated principles and vocabulary.
Desirable:
* Knowledge of Enterprise Architect.
* Exposure to Support Engineering principles and methodologies.
* Professional accreditation in a relevant discipline.
