We have a great opportunity for a Team Manager to join our Retrofit team as part of our wider Property Services department. The Role As a Team Manager for the Projects team you will assist and support the successful delivery of NCHA planned projects programme. You will deliver an outstanding customer focused service, in line with NCHAs vision, of More Homes, Great Services, Better Lives our Value for Money Strategy and Environmental Sustainability Strategy. Can you do this? Undertake all aspects of contract management as well as assist with the procurement of services and appointment of contractors ImplementNCHA strategies in business as usual Ensure projects are delivered high quality, on time and on budget Support change management within the projects conducted, assisting with contractor management Support planned services to meet or exceed relevant service standards and all applicable statutory and regulatory requirements to include (but not limited to) CDM Regulations,Health and Safety, Building Regulations and Building Safety Act 2022 What do you need to know? You will hold a HNC/ NVQ Level 4 in Building or have in depth experience working in either a Construction or a Maintenance environment. Hold a SMSTS or equivalent qualification, or be willing to work towards this Have good working knowledge of CDM 2015 Regulation, Asbestos, Fire Safety and all other related Building Regulations Be confident reading and interpreting technical, performance and financial information with the ability to prepare timely reports Have a successful track record of contractor management and building and maintaining effective working relationships Valid driving licence and access to a vehicle is required for this role. This role is eligible for essential car user allowance. Hours and location This role offers flexible hybrid working, with 35hrs per week worked between 08:00 to 18:00 Monday to Friday. The central office for this role is based in Clifton, Nottingham. We may close this vacancy early if we have sufficient interest.
