A unique opportunity has arisen, and we are looking for a talented & passionate Night Porter to join our Front of House team and support our current friendly staff. This opportunity is within our Country Hotel, which features 23 rooms in Cumbria, a 120-seater Gastro Pub, a 40-seater restaurant, and a 180-seater function suite, all finished to a very high standard with an expectation of 4 red stars and 2 rosettes in the Pub and 3 / 4 in the restaurant.
The nature of this position requires you to be over 18 years old. Please note that this position involves a majority of cleaning during the night.
Your Duties
* Providing outstanding customer service to our guests and customers
* Occasionally assisting with check-in/check-out procedures
* Keeping the reception area clean, tidy, and to high standards
* Reporting to Duty Managers
* Liaising with Housekeeping and other departments
* Ensuring the hotel remains secure throughout the night
* Preparing for the following day's events
* Performing security procedures throughout the evening
* Carrying out any additional cleaning duties
Shift Patterns
As we are open 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, availability from Monday to Sunday is required. Full and part-time positions are available. The shift pattern starts at 22:30 and finishes at 07:00. Please be aware you may be expected to work Bank and Public Holidays, including Christmas shifts.
Rate of Pay: This position starts at £12.50 per hour.
