Main duties of the job
1. Ensure staff are managed and adhere to HFPG policies and procedures.
2. Provide administrative support to the Group Practice Manager.
3. Ensure staff resources, including Clinical staff, are utilized efficiently and effectively.
4. Ensure organizational targets are regularly monitored and progress toward targets are reported to HFPG Group Practice Manager and Partners.
5. Contribute to financial and organizational planning.
6. With the direction of the Group Practice Manager, ensure there is regular communication at all levels and issues are reported immediately.
7. Maintain effective communication with the Local and wider NHS organizations.

Person Specification
Experience
* Good standard of education with excellent literacy and numeracy skills.
* GCSE grade A to C in English and Maths or equivalent.
* Experience of working within general practice in a management/supervisor role.
* Experience of performance management, including appraisal writing, staff development, and disciplinary procedures.
* Experience of GP finance and accounting software.
* Experience of successfully developing and implementing projects.
* Relevant health and safety experience.
* An ability to self-motivate, organize, and prioritize own workload.
* An understanding, acceptance, and adherence to the need for strict confidentiality.
* A flexible attitude to working patterns and duties.
* A bachelor's degree in business management, business administration, or related fields.
* Proficiency in computer software packages and health management applications.
* Experience of workforce planning, forecasting, and development.
