E-ppl we are leading suppliers of Managed Services within the automotive industry. Working with the main OEMs within the UK and overseas. We are a specialist contractor who OEM's call on to support their vehicle projects. This can range from carefully planned and executed launch support projects through to very reactive quality campaigns. All our projects are fully managed offering a turn-key solution to our customers. To perform Tinsmith operations in an automotive manufacturing work area. This will involve cutting, forming, straightening, and repairing sheet metal surfaces of vehicles. It also includes sanding, grinding and linishing the shaped or repaired metal surface and joints of welded or brazed materials to comply with the required finish. The Tinsmith will ensure the highest possible levels of productive efficiency, quality of workmanship and production finish to sustain growth in customer confidence. The role requires hands on operatives for the conversion of vehicles requiring: BIW (Body-in-White) Design of structural components (e.g. Door Panels / Body Side Panel/Upper body / Underbody Panels) Must have strong experience in design of passenger car body components like Roof, Floor, Side body outer/inner, doors, closures etc. Design and release experience in BIW Engineering. Possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills Knowledge of BIW DVPs & Testing specification Must have relevant experience in Vehicle Integration, Vehicle packaging, assembly processes of various parts. Should have knowledge and understanding of Tooling and manufacturing processes.
