Job Description
This is an exciting opportunity to join our new team as an Apprentice Global Traffic Planner in a busy and proactive office. The work is varied, from assisting other members of the team dealing with client matters to completing various administrative functions such as:
* Carrying out admin functions for different client-related tasks.
* Office administration duties to include various types of communications and helping other team members.
* Conversing with clients, suppliers and over the telephone.
* Answering the phone.
* Calendar management.
* Handling incoming and outgoing mail.
* Producing quotes.
* Using internal software and Microsoft packages including Word and Excel.
* Booking jobs on our internal software.
The applicant must be proactive, organised, punctual, engaged, motivated, and attentive to detail. We are looking for someone who can add extra quality to our highly skilled team.
The main part of the job is to arrange export collections for our customers, which involves various tasks such as checking deliveries, instructing our customs partners to issue customs documents, and other administrative tasks.
Any other duties as required.
Role Requirements - Qualifications:
* GCSE or equivalent Math and English (Grade C (4) or above).
Work Schedule:
* Monday to Friday
* 9am until 5pm
* 35 paid hours per week
* Office based
Holiday entitlement:
* 20 days + Bank Holidays

* Within 30 minute commute.
Please note: This role is an Apprenticeship. Non-UK nationals must provide evidence of having resided in the UK for at least three years and ensure their visa covers the entire duration of the Apprenticeship.
As this is a Level 3 Apprenticeship, candidates are required to have achieved a grade 4 (C) or above in Maths and English. If the successful applicant does not meet these grade requirements, additional training in these subjects will be provided as part of the Apprenticeship.

Pay: £18,000.00 per year
