A very successful company within the engineering sector is looking for a Technical Sales Engineer to strengthen its team on a permanent basis covering the North East region.
Responsibilities:
1. Supporting the sales function by proactively visiting clients to identify needs and generate new orders.
2. Supplying technical solutions.
3. Suggesting process improvements, cost reductions, and lean principles by utilising the company's products.
4. Consulting with clients to recommend the right tools and equipment.
5. Travelling to customer sites daily.
6. Building relationships and growing business with existing clients.
7. Promoting the company's product range.
8. Working with other internal and external sales teams.
Requirements:
1. Hands-on engineering/technical background.
2. Demonstrable experience in technical sales roles, showcasing a track record of sales growth and maximizing existing opportunities.
3. Exceptional communication skills.
4. Proficiency in MS Office packages.
5. A consultative approach and a genuine desire to help provide clients with a better solution.
