Job Title: Operations Manager
Location: Port Dundas, Glasgow, UK
Salary: £45,000 - £55,000 per annum (dependent on experience and skills)
We are looking for a skilled and proactive Operations Manager to lead our clients operations and production teams. In this role, you’ll ensure projects are delivered efficiently, within budget, and to the highest standards, while fostering a culture of excellence and collaboration. This is a role that will require to be present in the production and out on sites.
Key Responsilbilties:
- Operational Oversight: Manage day-to-day operations and production activities, ensuring smooth and timely delivery of all projects.
- Team Leadership: Inspire, mentor, and develop a dedicated team of production staff, driving productivity and teamwork.
- Process Optimisation: Identify and implement strategies to streamline processes, enhance efficiency, and reduce costs.
- Resource Management: Effectively allocate resources, including materials, equipment, and personnel, to meet production demands.
- Client Engagement: Build and maintain strong client relationships, addressing issues or concerns with professionalism and care.
- Health & Safety Compliance: Promote and maintain a safe working environment by ensuring adherence to all health and safety regulations.
Key Skills:
- A proven track record in operations management, ideally within a similar industry.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a team effectively.
- Exceptional organisational and problem-solving capabilities.
- Experience managing multiple projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- A thorough understanding of health and safety regulations.
- Proficiency with relevant software, tools, and machinery.
