Main duties of the job
Key Responsibilities, Clinical Practice
* Lead acute illness clinics and manage complex patient presentations
* Conduct comprehensive clinical examinations and develop treatment plans
* Independently prescribe and manage medications
* Deliver evidence-based care for both acute and chronic conditions
* Implement preventative care strategies and health promotion
* Provide specialised care in areas including:
o Family planning and sexual health
o Travel health and immunisations
o Minor surgery and wound care
o Mental health assessment and referral
Professional Standards
* Practice within NMC guidelines and maintain professional registration
* Implement infection control and safeguarding measures
* Utilise clinical systems effectively for patient care and audit
* Promote equality, diversity, and patient rights
* Maintain patient confidentiality and information governance standards

* Drive quality improvement initiatives and participate in clinical audits

Essential Qualifications & Skills
* Current NMC registration
* Chronic Disease Management expertise
* GCSE grades A-C in English and Mathematics
* Strong clinical assessment and diagnostic skills
* Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
* Proven ability to work autonomously
* Minor injuries experience
* Experience with EMIS
